Just passed one of these in this exact color. Really? They're cool cars, but in gold? Nah, I'm good.

Me too. I'm going to assume that it's based on Usain Bolt's custom gold GT-R, and another one of that color was auctioned off to someone in Australia, so this one has to be an aftermarket job.

It's certainly an eye-catcher. I've seen a few GT-Rs in the last couple years, mainly in black, but also in white, but the gold one, just, wow. I have to wonder how much that paint job cost on top of the car itself. And man, is it reflective. I think the only way it could be more reflective would be if it was pure chrome.

But hey, it's a GT-R, and those are always a cool sighting regardless.

The only way I'm having a gold GT-R is if it's given to me free without stipulations against a new paint job. Then I will be driving it straight to the shop.

I couldn't imagine driving near one on a bright, sunny day.

I see a good number of GT-Rs and every time I do, I feel calm and at peace with the world.
